Kayak availability for the Sapelo Island paddling event with the Georgia River Network. This reservation covers pfd, paddle, and a spot in a single or double kayak. We have a fixed fleet of kayaks available on Sapelo so cannot guarantee whether you will be in a tandem or single. But can guarantee a fun adventure!
Morning paddle is full but the afternoon one has room despite saying full. You can join the afternoon paddle's waiting list and we can confirm.
Enjoy either a morning or afternoon 3-4 mile round trip guided scenic paddle from Sapelo Island to Blackbeard Island along Blackbeard Creek, a protected marsh creek between these islands. Participants will have the opportunity to get out of their kayaks and explore Blackbeard Island, a beautiful National Wildlife Refuge that has been federally owned for over 200 years.
